June 3rd we are scheduled to visit Monte Alban http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/415 Monte
Alban, located in the city of Oaxaca, is considered to be one of the most
important archaeological sites in Americas. As a flourishing community for over 1500 years inhabited
successively by the Olmecs, Zapotecs and Mixtecs, it is a
site of pyramids, canals, terraces, dams, temple remains, and artificial mounds
carved out of the mountain.
